High School Geometry Junction

Students will translate, reflect, rotate, and dilate to create the image of a turkey. The dilation is defined by a rule (coordinate notation) so technically, they do not need to know how to dilate in order to complete this part of the project. This project has students rotating, reflecting, and translating an image on the coordinate plane to create a beautiful fall image. I use this in both my geometry and geometry honors classroom, and they've enjoyed it tremendously.
