Statistics project rubric. Throughout our statistics unit students completed small parts to the project, then I gave 50 minutes in class time for students to complete a poster summarizing their work. This is the 2 column rubric used.

AP Statistics Curriculum Sorting Activity
In this activity students take most topics from AP Statistics Curriculum and sort it into 3 categories: Topics I know, Topics I need to study, and topics that still confuse me. The topics are color coded according to the CED unit and students have access to the CED via College Board while sorting their topic cards. TEACHING SAMPLING METHODS- A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT ACTIVITY
A farmer has just cleared a new field for corn. It is a unique plot of land in that a river runs along one side. The corn looks good in some areas of the field but not others. The farmer is not sure that harvesting the field is worth the expense. Students use different sampling techniques (Convenience, Simple Random Sample, Stratified Sample, Systematic Sample and Cluster Sample) to estimate the yield of the corn for the farmer.
