Predict an event - Talk for Writing Hook worksheet
Lesson 1 of Jack and the beanstalk. Check out my page for the bundle! All lessons a PPT included!Predict an event based on clues. This can be used for any Talk for Writing hook. For Jack you could leave some beans near some soil and have some pots and a watering can. Students discuss what type of beans/seeds they are and what they might grow. Try and get them to think of a story or tv show where plants grow.

These are very basic cards that can be printed on card stock. I have chosen light blue and black as these are a suggestion for students with dyslexia. I hope you will try them out. Just a good tool to have for any teacher or to send home with your kids who need to learn their numbers. You could even laminated them and let them use a dry erase marker to practice writing the numbers and drawing how many.
