I use this behavior tracking sheet with my kindergartners. I've found that it is successful in holding the child accountable for his/her actions, positively re-enforces good choices, keeps the communication lines open with parents, and is a good tool for tracking behaviors/academic issues. I came up with this sorting activity because there aren't always a lot of strong resources for language in Montessori. English is also the second language of the children I teach. The chart includes 26 irregular verbs and 3 regular verbs for comparison. Simple Present, Present Continuous, Simple Past, Past Continuous, Present Perfect, Past Perfect, Future (will/going to), and the Infinitive are all represented. There are color control pieces so the child can self-correct.
