Enrichment Math Olympics
This document is used to have teams create Olympic events. I am using this with my math enrichment class, and I will start out by showing them some of the videos from NBC Learn: http://www.nbclearn.com/science-and-engineering-of-the-2014-olympic-winter-games

Relating Fractions to Decimals

For this activity, problems 1-3 provide a visual representation of fractions on a number line. Not only do students have to identify the fraction on the number line, but they also must choose the correct answer that correlates with the picture and is equal to the decimal.

Students must log their travel expenses, distances, and elapsed time.
