This math activity integrates both math and art. Students create a "fraction flower," with a fraction (in simplest form) as the flower's center. On the surrounding petals, students find three different equivalent fractions and both the percentand decimal conversion of the center fraction. Although it is an easy art project, it covers multiple state standards. It looks great on the wall for Back to School Nights or Open Houses!

Students must read 20 sentences and decide which verb to use and write the correct conjugation in present tense. They must then write the rule as to why that verb is being used. Great tool to mix up the three verbs and make the students think about the rules at hand.
