This is the editable version of my daily communication log for special education. I add this into a folder each day to communication with parents of special needs children.

Daily Behavior Note for Parent Communication
With this quick note a teacher can quickly report on a student's behavior for the day in several areas. The areas to report on can be changed to math your school day or needs. I have found this method very useful with parents who want a daily report. This is a method I found to me manageable to keep up with daily for multiple students.

2018- 2019 Editable Calendars for Teachers and Students (Horizontal)
This resource includes monthly calendars for 2018-2019 school year. These are great for communication with parents, lesson planning, curriculum planning, behavior progress, school events, etc. They are completely editable. You will need Powerpoint or a similar product to edit. There are 2 styles, both are horizontal. Happy planning!

ANNOTATION ANNOTATING JOURNAL PAGE READING DEPTH COMPLEXITY LANGUAGE ARTS GIFTED
For elementary and middle school students learning annotation. These structured annotation sheets can be bound together into a journal to use while learning annotation instead of using lined paper notebooks. Also great for Summer reading assignments where annotation is required, but it will be 3 months until student has classroom instruction on annotation again. Best to be used with a Depth and Complexity sheet and Figurative Language examples bound into journal as well. Happy Annotating!

My Weekly Behavior log
Quick and easy behavior log for parent to teacher communication. You can have students color their smiley face or you can circle it or stamp it on your own. I used to have them look at my behavioral clip chart in the classroom and color the smiley face that their name clip is on at the end of the school day.

Behavior Note
Quick and simple behavior note for quick communication with parents about a student's behavior. This one page document is fast to fill out. Student's name, the date and then simply check the boxes of the poor choices or behaviors that occurred that day. The note has a parent signature at the bottom. This is a word document that can be edited and altered to meet your specific needs.

Parent Update/Newsletter: "What we worked on"
This is an editable template for teachers to inform parents what they worked on daily throughout the week. You can type on it or write on it. This is great especially for special education teachers with students who complete various tasks daily. It keeps parents informed! There are two types: Class form (to send out with parent classroom newsletters) and individual student forms. There are also forms that ask for the parent's signature at the bottom and forms that do not ask for the signature.

Spring Conference Scheduling Packet-Editable
The Parent Teacher Conference Scheduling Packet includes a conference time preference slip and a conference time note. Both are easy editable documents for teachers to print and send home to families.
On the preference slip, families choose their preferred conference time and then return the slip for specific scheduling.
