This is a book that can be printed and used to increase summer vocabulary. I laminate the pages and use my school's spiral book binder. The extra pictures at the end I cut out and also laminate. I use velcro on each page and the single pictures. For receptive vocabulary I place the single pictures in front of the child and ask them to find what I name. I created this visual as a visual checklist that students can mark off themselves (Flip up the dinosaur over the number to show completion). Sight Word Cards
These cards are in order for the Journey's kindergarten series. I use them with dry erase markers, play dough or mini erasers. At the top they cover up the word. They then use the play dough or other materials to fill in the word. At the bottom they have sentences using the word and others they have previously learned to practice reading.
