In this project, students can create a foldable by drawing a picture of each type of animal with a Backbone:

Students then write information learned under each foldable category. This is a great activity to supplement your current lesson or as a stand alone lesson about animals with backbones.

This taboo-style game is to go over general waves with students where students use words to explain parts of a wave and vocabulary and other students must guess the word.
Students will use this handout in conjunction with a germination activity in the classroom. I used lima beans with a moist paper towel in a Ziploc bag to illustrate how a seeds germinates. We watch over several days and record our findings on this handout!
Students use this handout as they observe celery stalks in different colored containers of water over the course of a week. They will make predictions and observations as they watch what happens!
