Makey Makey Project: Earth’s Rotation and Revolution
This STEAM project uses the makey makey and scratch.mit.edu to teach about earth's rotation and revolution. My students used an 8.5x14 piece of paper for their drawing and facts. They used copper tape on the edges of their poster for the makey makey wires to connect to and run their code to read each fact aloud. On scratch, they voice-recorded their facts and included these within their codes. Page 1 is the student copy that I shrunk to fit in their journals. Page 2 is the teacher rubric I used

Here is a short and to the point, step by step guide that completely explains the properties of matter in a way students everywhere can understand. The power point contains a web link, to which is accessible even in schools that have the youtube block. At the end of the lesson the last slide has the quick quiz to check for understanding.
