Practicing simple sentence structure

Practice a simple sentence structure using motor, visual and auditory cues. Parts of speech are color coded to match a colored circle. Cut out the colored circles and place them in front of the student in the correct order. The student touches each circle as she says each part of speech. It reinforces the production of articles and helping verbs. The individual word cards can be used separately to allow you to vary the subject and verb with pictures or objects you already have.

This booklet was developed for a Montessori classroom to allow students to practice sounding out and reading phonetic consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words. Many schools color-code these words in pink. Document is set up with a table of words that is designed to be cut down to 3-inch wide, 1-inch tall cards. You can punch a hole on the left side of the cards and insert a binder ring. Included are the vowels in bold to serve as a cover for each booklet. You end up with the materials for 6 booklet

They use all senses - visual, auditory, and even kinesthetic - adding actions to letter formation. Invaluable material to be included in whole class or small group direct instruction or guided practice.
