I've created a vocabulary quiz/test for A Walk in the Desert to asses my students' knowledge of this weeks vocabulary words. It is great, and effective.
This worksheet was used in my classroom as a formative assessment half way through our unit on adjectives. It could also be used as homework. I also included a 3-2-1 about adjectives that I also used as a formative assessment. These are on Microsoft word so they are fully editable :)

You give students a minute to race and conjugate the verbs as practice. you can do one minute or more and put a timer so they know how much time they have. On the back they write sentences using whatever verbs from the front of the worksheet. Can be used as: conjugation practice warm up exit ticket game quiz
Students take singular nouns that end in "f" and practice making them plural by adding "v" and then "es". Students then write a sentence using the new plural noun. An additional extension of alphabetizing the words is available on the bottom of this worksheet. Quick and easy to use as homework or as a quiz.
