As this worksheet says, while it is true that polygons with greater than 12 sides can be called #-gons (13-gons, 18-gons, 24-gons, 52-gons, etc), there are several prefixes that we can string together to name them in a less lazy fashion. I gave this page to my Honors Geometry students to complete the table of prefixes/names according to memory and patterns in the table.
