Autism / Non verbal Learning Disorder (NVLD / NLD) in the Classroom
Non verbal learning disorder is now part of Autism spectrum disorder (ASD). I grew up with this neurological difference, and I would like to help other teachers understand this intellectual difference. I was diagnosed with NLD from the DSM-4, but the changes in DSM-5 folded NLD into Autism Spectrum. This is something that I have written from my experience as a person with ASD / NLD.
