I am in my 12th year of teaching. First graders are definitely the best age of kiddos to teach! I can't explain the amount of love I have for teaching them to read and watch their growth throughout the entire year. It is astonishing!
I have been making powerpoints and many activities and graphic organizers for my own classroom and other teachers for awhile now. Now I just need to make the time to post them on here! (That's more than half the battle!)

My Weather Journal: A Day in the Life of a Meteorologist book
I created this journal as part of our weather unit. As we learned about weather, my kiddos filled out the pages pertaining to what we studied each day. In this journal you will find blank writing pages, common parts of a nonfiction book (index, glossary, table of contents, find out more, etc) and different sections including: a weather graph, clouds, weather tools, types of weather, effects of weather, and meteorologists. I love spending any free time making stuff for my classroom, hunting down goodies at flea markets and garage sales, crafting and making my home more beautiful and fun, spending time with my husband and our 2 kiddos, and always on the lookout for a new way I can reach my kids!
