St. Patrick's Day themed task cards to help students practice patterns using colors. There are 64 task cards total. -24 are the ABC pattern. -40 are the AB pattern. Some of the patterns include a shamrock picture. One page of shamrocks are provided at the end of the document for you to print out and use. Students can use beads, colorful cards, crayons, etc. to recreate these patterns.

This cute little poem helps capture the delights of the autumn season by describing the process of decorating a pumpkin cookie! This is an easy and creative way for students to get a general idea about how offspring of plants will receive the traits from their parents. They will first decide the traits of each parent apple including color, texture, flavor, etc. Then, they will combine those traits to create a new apple! *Can be paired with the Mystery Science lesson, "What is the biggest apple in the world?"
