Students will learn and practice the steps to conduct genetic recombination in order to solve a real world problem. This is the activity you have been waiting for! Students will choose the correct restriction enzymes, find the correct cut sites to remove the gene, and place the gene fragment in another DNA strand using the same restriction enzymes.
