A Little Learning

Overview: This resource is a menu of activities and projects all related to the concept of injustice. The choices infuse technology, the arts, and of course critical and creative thinking. In addition, students are encouraged to create their own "combo" or custom dish. The "appetizer" is for all students. However, they choose their own "entrees," "side dishes," and "desserts." This activity gives students a glimpse into four of Shakespeare’s plays: The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet; The Tragedy of Julius Caesar; The Merchant of Venice; and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. After previewing each of the four plays by reading and responding to an excerpt, students will select one play to study in a literature circle.
