Gingerbread Man Tasting Graph-What Did You Eat First on the Gingerbread Man?
This is one of my favorite winter graphs to do with my students. Give each child a gingerbread man cookie and have them take one bite. Have the students graph their results. Each child will get a clipboard for this worksheet and then go around the classroom to survey their classmates results. This is a great winter activity that will go perfectly with your gingerbread themed activities or a fun activity for a Holiday Party. This is a great lesson to teach the children sequence of events because it is a memorable hands-on activity. It's also a great way to teach nutrition and the importance of making something with no preservatives. Give each child a job to help make the applesauce. I love guiding the children to go beyond their own expectations. I believe in challenging children to reach their fullest potential by providing a stimulating classroom environment that fosters self-confidence, independence, respect for others, hands-on experiences and embracing their natural curiosity. It's exciting to see how far they can go given the tools and the knowledge. Each child is unique and is encouraged to express their opinions, nurture their ideas and collaborate with others. I want them to aspire for more and have fun doing it!
