I have always struggled to help my students understand the difference between rows and columns. This year, I finally made a template to help them. They simply slid it into their dry erase sleeve and use it as a white board to draw arrays. I used it under the document camera with counters and bears. They rows and columns are labeled to help students know which way to turn their board.

This resource is used to help build simple sentences progressing into developed “juicy” sentences. Build a bulletin board as you teach about different parts of speech. Use the bulletin board to allow students to practice creating simple sentences. Ultimately, creating more complex, "juicy" sentences. My other parts of speech resources pair well with this bulletin board kit. Students can utilize the board to practice building complete simple and complex sentences.
