Use this feelings thermometer as a visual support when teaching emotional self-regulation and problem-solving skills. Teach the student to associate each color on the thermometer with the corresponding emotion and number. When students are able to recognize their own feelings, they are then able to intervene and use a coping skill to manage them.

The following pages may be used as individual activities or assembled into an interactive book to teach/practice room associations. The activities can be used within group instruction, 1:1 instruction, and/or as independent tasks. Students are required to sort the items to the corresponding room mats. Just print and get started or laminate for repeated use!
