Teaching style

I am a hands-on, small group, differentiated instruction type of teacher. I value cooperative learning and encourage independence both in practice and in thinking. The growth mindset is a central focus for each day in my classroom.

My own education history

I hold a Master's Degree in Special Education K-12 and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education K-8. I have taught second grade, first grade, and kindergarten as a classroom teacher; and served as Special Education Director at four schools across the country.
