My adventures in the education world have brought me to exciting positions both in and out of the classroom. I have taught primary grade students in inner-city public schools for many years. I've additionally written multiple testing passages for the ELA primary grade division of Houghton Mifflin's assessment studio. After getting a Masters in Elementary Education, I spent two years teaching special education with students from kindergarten through 5th grade. I believe that this experience was fundamental for my growth and success as a teacher. It taught me to differentiate instruction, prioritize getting to know each individual child, and to get creative (even on the spot!) in order to help every student reach his or her full potential. I have taught 1st grade and Kindergarten for many years and absolutely love the age group. I hope you and your students enjoy my products! Happy Learning :)
