This printable is to help distinguish the difference in short and long vowels, as well as teach the symbols and vocabulary pieces that go along with it. There is a second page to this document that has little printable squares for vowel sticks. I choose to glue them to popsicle sticks for our vowel drill. **PLEASE NOTE! This mat is great for small group instruction or as a resource for students to have at their seat! Rooted in the science of reading, it practices orthographic mapping for spelling words. I chose to print mine on bright paper and laminate. You can use seasonal erasers, counting discs, or whatever manipulative you choose!

This printable can be used as a "cheat sheet" to remember the cues for dictation when you are dictating words to for students to encode. For students who are receiving multisyllabic words, draw a long syllable line for each syllable, then focus on syllable at a time (and using these sound cues for each sound).

This activity is a 2-in-1 package. You have both Thanksgiving turkeys and Christmas trees. Both practice 0-10. Match the correct feathers to the turkeys and match the ornaments and star to the trees. I printed multiple copies as a center. I also used colored cardstock so the pieces had color. I laminated and cut them to use year after year.

This adapted book can be used year round. It's as easy as print, laminate, and a little velcro! Each page has the image lightly on it to assist learners with placing the object. There is a separate page with non-transparent copies of each object to cut and add velcro.

This printable poster offers writers of all ages how to appropriately space their work. I pair this printable with physical "spaghetti" and "meatballs" when I initially teach the concept. My spaghetti are yellow plastic cocktail toothpicks and my meatballs are miniature brown pom-poms (both from Amazon). Once the concept has been taught and practiced, this poster remains on display incase anyone needs a reminder.

Subitizing is a critical skill for numerical fluency. These cards show quantities of 2-15 in multiple different ways. I use them daily in my math warm-up routine. I printed, laminated, and put on a ring.
