About the store

I am currently teaching 6th grade math, which I love. I taught 3rd grade for eight years and I miss many things about elementary. I also teach adult ELL/ESL four nights a week and coach boys' tennis in the fall. I taught 6th grade math for two years at the beginning of my career and also have experience substitute teaching K-12, tutoring elementary through college including SAT prep. I have also been a scorer for ISTEP+, Indiana's standardized test for 3-10.

Teaching style

I'm not sure how to describe my teaching style. I'm big on scaffolding. I like to address materials in a variety of ways with diverse groupings at multiple levels. I'm willing to do whatever is needed to reach any student at any time.
