Independently, Students can read text and then analyze their reading by completing this frame/graphic organizer. They will be asked to record key events, people, terms, etc. and then analyze the importance of this event.
Practical Classroom Uses
You can use this as a pre-reading exercise to activate prior knowledge before starting a lesson and/or use it as an assessment after a lesson has been completed

Upon completion of one of these graphic organizers, your students should be able to compose a cohesive paragraph containing a topic sentence, details/examples from the text, & a closing sentence.
