About the store
I have taught all subjects in grades 2, 3, and 5 and science in grades 6 and 7. Science is my favorite subject to teach! As both a teacher and mom, I understand the need for resources that support a wide variety of learning needs. As a homeschooling mom, I’ve learned the importance of building on children’s strengths and interests while also finding practical activities we can do together to save time. These experiences inspire me to create lessons that are adaptable, engaging, and designed to make learning work in real life.

Experience

I have taught all subjects in grades 2, 3, and 5 and science in grades 6 and 7. Science is my favorite subject to teach! As both a teacher and mom, I understand the need for resources that support a wide variety of learning needs. As a homeschooling mom, I’ve learned the importance of building on children’s strengths and interests while also finding practical activities we can do together to save time. These experiences inspire me to create lessons that are adaptable, engaging, and designed to make learning work in real life.

Teaching style

I like weaving technology into our lessons whenever I can because it keeps my kids engaged and makes learning feel fun and interactive. I also love group work — whether it’s students in a classroom or my own kids at the kitchen table — because there’s so much value in learning from each other. At the end of the day, I want lessons that are hands-on, adaptable, and practical for real life, not just something that looks good on paper.

My own education history

I have a bachelor of science degree in elementary education and a master's degree in Applied Technology in Education.

Additional biographical information

I’ve taught everything from 2nd to 7th grade and loved middle school science, but homeschooling has my heart — it’s where I get to follow my kids’ interests, spark real curiosity, and teach on my own terms. I’m a hands-on, crafty kind of mom — sewing, scrapbooking, making jewelry — and I bring that same creativity into my teaching. Living a toxin-free lifestyle isn’t just a choice; it’s a non-negotiable for our home and how I design my resources. I believe in being intentional, cutting out the unnecessary, and choosing tools and lessons that actually make life healthier, simpler, and more vibrant.
