This activity encourages students to approximate square roots. Students match the square root with the corresponding number. I've had students use this with partners as a brief review before an assessment.
Using number lines to teach addition and subtraction has always been in my tool box. This product includes a variety of number line addition problems that can challenge students in grades 1 - 3. I've used this product to differentiate instruction for students. Students need to show how they added the numbers together by placing the operations above each number line. Please see the free sample if you have any questions. An answer sheet with sample answers is provided.

My students love math games. Easily print out the cards, cut them out, shuffle and pass them out to your kids. This type of game works well in small groups where students have multiple cards to pick from. Enjoy!
Do you want a constructive way to teach students how to multiply and divide integers? If so, this might be just for you! Students complete the sheet and look for patterns. By analyzing the patterns they determine the rules are used when multiplying and dividing integers. When students determine the rules on their own they're more likely to remember them. I hope this works as well in your classroom as it does in mine. Enjoy!

The second set doesn’t include squares on each block. Students are expected to visualize and compare fractions without actual numbers. This can help students deve
Students will have a blast playing this computation practice game!
