Students are paired up for this activity. Each partner must solve a set of questions. The answer for each question number is the same for both partners but the problem is different. If a student gets a different answer then their partner, they must look at their work and their partner's work to determine where the mistake was made. This particular activity focuses on ordering and comparing integers.

This google slides jeopardy has links to each question as well as transitions to the answers. The categories include Simplifying and Converting to Improper Fractions, Adding and Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing, Mixed Operations, and Word Problems.

This game is just like the classic card game memory except students are trying to match equivalent decimals to fractions and vice versa.

Students will complete a table of free throw attempts and successful free throws. I suggest giving a time limit to complete this rather than a certain number of free throws. Students then list from greatest to least the fraction of successful free throws to free throw attempts for their group. Students also look at NBA and WNBA data for free throws and answer: 2. Why do you think the women in the WNBA have a higher free throw average in general than the men in the NBA?

Using the free throw statistics from the 2012-2013 seasons, I created a chart of the averages from the WNBA and NBA. As a group students will have a free throw session and record their number of attempts and successful free throws. I will give my students 10 to 20 minutes to complete their free throws. I would suggest not to have the students all complete the same number of free throws since it will make it extremely easy to compare the fraction of successful free throws to the number of atte
