Students are paired up for this activity. Each partner must solve a set of questions. The answer for each question number is the same for both partners but the problem is different. If a student gets a different answer then their partner, they must look at their work and their partner's work to determine where the mistake was made. This is similar to the game Connect Four. Students play in pairs The game board consists of a six by six table. Each box in the table has a problem inside. When it is a players turn, he/she must roll a pair of die to determine which box contains the problem they must solve. After solving the problem, they ask the moderator if their answer is correct. Pass out one card to each student in the class. Choose a student to start by asking "who has __________?". Then the student with the correct answer responds "I have ________, who has ________?". This continues until the first person reads his/her answer. This version focuses on integers. My classes like me to time it and have a competition with my other classes.
