Who doesn't love a movie day?! One of my favorite movies from my middle/high school days was Holes. I also know that a lot of students will also have Holes as a required reading sometime throughout their schooling. This resource is a crossword puzzle that requires students to correctly solve addition and subtraction problems with integers. There are fourteen practice problems and a key included. The problems have a range of formats so students can practice all types of addition and subtraction problems. Check out my other resources!

Students will work with a partner on either column 1 or column 2. When both partners are done, their answers should match. There are 8 problems in each column, including two word problems. The problems included show at least one example of each operation. I also included an easy checking "magic number" on the bottom that will allow for teachers to easily check that the entire worksheet is correct.
