About the store
I have recently left the classroom for a data analyst job in the private sector. Prior to this transition, I have taught math at a liberal arts college for 8 years. Some of the courses I taught regularly were precalculus, statistics, and business calculus. I have also been tutoring students of all ages for many years. Oddly enough, SAT math is one of my favorite tutoring subjects because I get to solve more interesting problems with the student. It also covers many topics in mathematics.

This set of Alphabet Flashcard is from a Microsoft Word template. Each piece has a Picture and a word that correspond to the Alphabet. Unlike other alphabet flashcards, this set contains the Chinese translation to the English word. It is appropriate for parents and teachers who want to expose students to English and Chinese at an early age. It also helps students to build their English and Chinese vocabulary. This is a word document - each page contains 2 flashcards.

Experience

Teaching style

I am a more traditional instructor. I have tried to be creative by using flipped classroom and smart devices. However, I have found that students still learn best when they are given one-on-one, face-to-face instruction. Instruction needs not be dry. I think good demonstration with concrete examples would engage students learn better. Then they would be more confident in solving problems on their own. I have also allotted a lot more class time on class practice for students to work on problems. I also like to give case study assignments to my students.
