I have been a teacher for 7 years. I started in Southwest Kansas and have recently moved to Washington state. I have worked with middle school aged students since before teaching.

Data Collection # 1 - Students go around the room to collect both quantitative and qualitative data.
Data Collection # 2- Students read a short passage, complete the data table, determine the average and graph just one set of data. (You could add extra graph paper to graph the other two.) Answers are included for the data but not the graph.
Data Collection # 3- Students go outside or into a large open area to walk, bunny hop and run in order to practi
For the group of students that need to be walking around I have created the Metric Walk Around.
25 metric conversion problems, each on their own slide to be printed and hung around the classroom.
I have also included the answer sheet so that students are able to record their answers.
The answer key is on the second slide of the Metric Walk Around problems.
