This will be my 13th year of teaching! I have been fortunate enough to work in the same school, on the same grade level, and with the same assistant all 13 years! Kindergarten is my passion - I love teaching students to read!!

Teaching style

I love my students, first and fore-most. In my experience, I have found that once children know you love them, they are more likely to follow the rules in place so that learning can occur. My classroom is a structured one, where expectations and procedures are clear for me and my students. We have fun while we learn!!
