Animal Unit Vocabulary

A vocabulary list I created to use as a reference for students during our animal science unit. I used a poster machine to enlarge the list to display on the wall. How you use it is up to you! Experience

I am currently embarking on a homeschooling adventure! Before staying home with my kids, I taught a mixed age class K-2 in Cleveland, OH. Before that, I taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at a boarding school for the poor and orphaned in Guatemala. I have had experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages.

Teaching style

I am trained in the constructivist approach as well as Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). I have used Daily 5 and Café!

Awards & shining teacher moments

I graduated Kent State University Summa Cum Laude.

My own education history

My second grade teacher is the one who inspired me to be a teacher. Her love for learning was contagious! My K-8 years were at a suburban public school. I completed ninth grade at a private school and ultimately finished my high school diploma as a home school student through Indiana University's high school distance learning program. I have a variety of experiences as both a student and teacher in many settings.

Additional biographical information

I joined TpT as a source of income while I taught poor and orphaned children in Guatemala!
