This is a short, tried and true way to get students to memorize the first 17 US Presidents and the 13 Original Colonies. I created and used it when I taught American History through Reconstruction. I learned that if students knew the order of the presidents, then they would have a built-in time frame of when things happened. Have fun with this easy memory trick!

This is a simple chart to remind the teacher of the needs of students. You can fill it in, print it out, and keep it located with your special education or 504 files or keep it saved on your computer desktop to look at any time.
