This is a syllabus that I used for my AP English Language and Composition class. I've uploaded as a word document so that it can be customized for your class!
I distribute this student information sheet on the first day of class. Students fill it out and it provides me with a reference for the rest of the semester including contact information, medical alerts, and interesting facts to get to know my students better! As always, it is an editable file so you can modify it for your own needs!
I use these passes as incentives for my high school students. Each sheet has six passes that students can use for turning in an assignment late, an extra day on a paper, a trip to the restroom, or a "broken printer," (which equals an extra day on a paper :) ) Students earn these for doing well in class--you can decide based on your students, but ideas include: earning an A on a test, having homework for two weeks in a row, etc. I've uploaded them as a word doc so you can adapt and change it
This is a list of class expectations that I use with my high school English classes each year, but it could be used for any middle or high school course. I've also included a larger version that I post on the wall. I've posted these as word docs so you can customize them for your own classes.
