Greatest Common Factor

This lesson teaches how to solve for greatest common factor in 2 different ways: List Method and Ladder Method. Both methods work effectively, although in grades 6 + the ladder method is proven to be more efficient, especially when given large numbers. It is assumed that students have already been introduced to factors, although not completely necessary. This lesson can be used to teach the lesson by itself in one full class period, or spread out over two lessons.
