This is a short response style quiz. This quiz assesses student knowledge of units, measuring tools, metric conversions, and real life applications of these skills.
This activity asks students to analyze factors that are important in selecting donuts. The students must construct an argument for what factors are most important when selecting donuts. They will choose from the three donut options and describe why they selected the option using evidence and reasoning. This activity works well as individual, small group, or whole class instruction. I recommend encouraging students to discuss their selections and reasoning with each other.
