Water Cycle game: Students will become droplets of water traveling through the water cycle while tracking their journey. Students will be able to compare and describe changing patterns in nature that repeat themselves. This is a great way to wrap up a unit on the water cycle. Students place counters in a grid and match to an equation, giving them a visual representation of the ways to make a number. There are 2 "levels" to participate at making this a lasting activity. Decomposing numbers is a Common Core requirement for multiple grade levels.
