This is a student choice powerpoint where the student can pick a broad or specific type of technology to research the history of. This 10 slide powerpoint entails parts, who, when, where was it invented, along with life before that technology, and a works cited slide. I give the students 1 class period and a weekend to work on this presentation.

This leads discussion and how I format future assignments in the technology unit.

Students must answer 5 short response questions about their use of technology. Then use it as a class discussion topic or debate.

Students can do 3 mini labs or stations to help them understand how pressure works.

This worksheet includes 4 mini labs. These can be done all at the same table or you can set them up at 4 different tables and make the students move station to station. Easy to get materials!

Science Classroom Scavenger Hunt. Kids can either put what the object is by or they can use their ipad or chromebook to take a picture of the location of the item.

These editable sub plans include an easy way to leave all of the information that the sub will need to look at for the lessons for the day. This includes extra notes, attendance, aides, and times of class schedule. This is for a 10 class period day, but can easily be edited for block or a different schedule.

Color and label the foldable.

Light a candle for each student to watch and observe what happens. The students answer the questions and we discuss.

Students get an item to observe. Then they list descriptive adjetives or nouns about the object. Based on the students descriptions, other students have to guess at what their item may have been.

Students gather information about their teacher and then they create a summary.
