In this experiment, students investigate which materials are best at keeping heat from escaping. Each group fills identical aluminum cans with warm water and wraps them in different materials such as wool, cotton, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and bubble wrap, leaving one can unwrapped as a control. Over a 10-minute period, students measure and record the temperature of the water every 2 minutes to observe how quickly each can cools. By comparing the results, students determine which material pro
