This is an elementary book review unit. A book review is different from the book report - reviews don't give away the ending! Students choose a book, create a story map, answer specific questions for 3 different paragraphs, participate in a partner check, edit, and produce a final copy complete with illustrations. This unit takes about 2 weeks to complete. It is self-explanatory and easy to teach. Model examples to the students. Enjoy the final product they produce!
