About the store
I started as a Second Grade Teacher and taught at this grade level for four years. I also have taught Middle School Spanish for two years. While teaching Second Grade, I fell in love with integrating technology. As a result, I enrolled in a graduate program and received a Master's Degree in Technology in Education. Since earning my degree, I have been teaching K-8 Computer Technology Education. I have taught computer education classes to students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, supported teachers with technology integration, and facilitated teacher professional development. Currently, I am a middle school Library Media Specialist. In addition I am also College Adjunct Professor where I teach pre-service teachers how to integrate technology into the classroom.

100's Chart in Various Versions
This upload is a zip file that contains an excel file and a pdf file of 8 different versions of a 100's chart. The excel file is included so that you can manipulate the 100's charts to meet your needs. The pdf file is included to keep the original formatting intact.
There are 8 different types of 100's Charts in each file:

Technology Word Wall Words
This is a collection of words for a technology word wall. I have them hanging up in my computer lab. I laminate the words and put a velcro square on the back. I have one wall where all of the words are. Then I have another wall next to the LCD projector where I give direction instruction where I post the the words that we are currently focusing on.

Fall Holidays Word Banks
This is a set of word banks for fall holidays. There is one page of sight words for each of the holidays. (Fall Season, Back to School, Halloween, and Thanksgiving) I have also included a blank word bank. In my classroom, I print out each word bank and I keep them in a binder or writer’s notebook. Students use this tool when they are independently writing.

This is a word bank that contains spring words. I print this word bank out for my students to use. I have a binder that has all of the word banks. Beginning, Middle, End Background for KidPix
This is a jpeg image that can be added as a background in KidPix. If you use Kid Pix with your students, you can add your own backgrounds to the software program. To do this, download the "how to directions" that I have uploaded to my store as a freebie.
If you don't use KidPix, you can still print this jpeg out and still use it as a template or insert it into PowerPoint or Word.
I create jpeg images to use as templates. They make great graphic organizers. In addition, student LOVE to use Kid

This is a set of word banks for the four seasons. There is one page of sight words for each of the seasons. I have also included a blank word bank. This is a blank word bank template that I use with students. I create different word banks based on the subject area. For example, I have a word bank for spring words, animal words, sports words, etc. I print out the word banks for students to be able to use during the writing process. I have found that these word banks help make the students more independent during the writing process.

Experience

Teaching style
I encourage students to be independent thinkers and develop a life-long love of learning. My lessons are student centered, encourage student engagement, and challenge students to be creative thinkers. When I work with college students and adults, I am in favor of a hands-on experience. I am more of a facilitator rather than a lecturer. I am a believer in the flipped classroom model of teaching.
