Amy's Algebra
Students are asked to look at the graphs of parabolas and absolute value functions. They then need to identify roots (also referred to as zeros on the worksheet), increasing interval, decreasing interval, and the end behavior of the graph. This, and other, fine products available in Amy's Algebra store on Teachers Pay Teachers.

Mean as a Balance Point Extra Practice

Created by
Amy's Algebra
This worksheet contains 4 problems to be used as an extra practice or review to solidify understanding of mean as a balance point. Two questions ask students to identify the balance point of a data set from points on a number line. Two questions require students to identify where to plot an additional point on the number line in order to satisfy a given balance point.
