This is a small sample of the money budgeting file I have available. This file has 4 simple budgeting pages that students can complete in a whole group, in small groups, or independently. Students are encouraged to use a calculator. This is a great addition to your money unit in school! This activity allows students to practice using a calculator. Students will practice matching/identifying numbers, and using addition to calculate the total. Half the version is where students use the dollar up method to identify how much money they will need to purchase their goods. This is a fast and easy way to incorporate functional reading in your lessons. Reading a recipe is a great life skill to be able to increase independence. This is a great easy worksheet that allows students to make a choice. This is great for a beginning-year activity. But also as a start to learn the life skill of making a decision, finding the student's likes and dislikes. Making choices is a part of life and is a good skill to explicitly learn. Sometimes our friends strive for our attention. This is a half-sheet visual where students can see who's turn it is. I would use this in a small special ed. classroom or small group. This resource would allow you to write up to 6 student names on 6 different squares and then place the correct student on the picture frame stating who's turn it is. Algebra and word problems are always harder for students to understand. I found that this setup allows my students to see the questions in sections. These are specifically addition and subtraction word problems. I know my students have issues dissecting what it is asking and need a graphic organizer to help. This is an adaptive writing worksheet where students who are non-readers/non-writers are able to achieve writing standards by completing a paragraph and a research paper.
