Teaching style

My teaching style is heavy on creating a fun, inclusive, and engaging lessons for my students! I employ technology and student lead learning in my own classroom. At my school, the needs of my students are varied, so individualized learning and small groups are super important to me :)

My own education history

I studied Classical Languages and Computer Science in my original bachelors degree. I don't have a traditional path to education (I entered teaching through Lateral Entry). I have since taken education classes to enhance my teaching and am working on my national boards at the moment. I have studied the science of reading (though LETRS). I also have a certification in NC's "Rethink Education" training which focuses on utilizing individualized learning through hybrid teaching.
