Reading Street Sight Word List from 2013 edition. This list is organized by unit/week. The list starts at the left and goes down.
This is great to use as an assessment tool for checking sight words. I use it to check sight words by quarter but could also be used weekly after each lesson or even at the end of a unit.
This is a guide to parent teacher conferences. There is an introduction letter to send home to parents to sign up for conferences. There is also a page to send home confirming their conference time with a half page cut off for parents to send in with any concerns they want to be sure are addressed in the conference. I love this part because you can be well prepared for some of those questions and they are not such a surprise. ( Although some parents dont' always return this page)

This is a communication log to use between parents and teachers. I use a binder system in my classroom and this page stays inside the binder at all times.
I used this for our Open House. It worked great! It gave the families something to do so they were not just standing around. It also worked out great that I was not attacked by parents all at the same time.

Brag tags are a great way to motivate students. They can be used for both academic and behavior rewards. Students love to get new tags. I created these brag tags so that students get a tag when they move up reading levels. There are individual tags for levels aa-Z. I have created three different versions included; black and brights, white and brights, and printer friendly black and white to be used on colored paper.
