I have been teaching for 12 years, two years in first grade, three years in sixth grade and seven years working as a gifted intervention specialist.
Teaching style
I believe in collaborative education. In my classroom, we do a lot of group work, focusing on taking an idea and building upon it. I think this a great way to teach children to think critically. Currently, my focus in the classroom is fourth grade language arts. My goal is to make my children thoughtful lovers of reading.
