These are two options of graphic organizers to help your kiddos plan out their opinion writing pieces! One option is landscape format and the other is portrait. (Fonts Used: KG Shake it Off and KG Shake it Off Chunky)

This is a power point to introduce or practice using numbers and manipulative to represent place value! It is made for students to be following along with a personal whiteboard, and place value manipulatives.

Features: Counting on and counting back Number lines by 1s, 10s, and 5s Broken up into I Do, We Do, and You Do slides Handout Directions: Print 2 slides per page. Do not print slides 3, 6, 9, 12, or 18. (I left out the I Do pages when I printed the handout so that students would just watch when I demonstrated first.)

This packet includes a poem called The Perfect Snowman. There are three pages. Page 1 - students listen as the teacher reads. They then answer a comprehension question. Page 2 - students echo read, then listen for rhyming words. They record rhyming words on the bottom of the page. Page 3 - students read with a partner, then illustrate the beginning, middle, and end of the story.

This is a partner activity where one student creates a number sentence with counting dots, and writes in the answer in the box. (Make sure to laminate the first document, or put it in a sheet protector, so you can use it again.) Then, they cover up one of the circles with a cup and their partner has to guess what number is under the cup. The second document is a worksheet that goes along with it.

This product may be used as a reading resource - to sequence stories read in class, or as a writing resource - to sequence out narrative writing pieces. Enjoy!
